Liter of Light is a global, grassroots movement committed to providing affordable, sustainable solar light to people with limited or no access to electricity.
Liter of Light volunteers teach communities how to use recycled plastic bottles and locally sourced materials to illuminate their homes, businesses, and streets.
SEEES UI collaborated with Liter of Light to train student members on basic solar technology and also enlighten us on the way their impacting communities in Nigeria. After we had this session we were very inspired by the work Liter of Light Nigeria is doing and would like to be a part of their forthcoming projects. Community impact is something we believe we should be actively part of, because we would grow faster as we help build each other.
Bringing light and hope to communities in perpetual darkness, and helping them realise the world of opportunities outside their local communities is something that brings us fulfillment.
